Feed Mill

In order to guarantee good quality of animal feeds and to ensure milk availability throughout the year, the cooperative has a feed mill facility where different kinds of feeds are produced. Currently we are producing nutritious high yield dairy meal LIMDA brand and sells them at a lower than market price to the farmers.

We source for high quality raw materials in order to ensure production of quality feeds. The raw materials delivered to the feed mill are inspected before acceptance, some are repackaged into standard quantities while others are first refined by being milled before being processed. The feed samples produced are taken to laboratory for quality analysis.

The feed mill has provided affordable high-quality animal feeds to the society’s farmers and the community as a whole. The farmers access the feeds from the milk collection points. Our market has expanded to other Cooperatives like Kiambaa, Kikuyu, Kabete, NKCC among others.
