Limuru Dairy Farmers Coop Society- Dairy Mill Project

The dairy society received the grant to install, commission and operate a feed mill for manufacturing dairy feed for their members. During this interview, it became apparent that while the women do everything associated with the care of the cows – feeding, milking, delivering the milk to collection centers, obtaining Vet services, – the husbands get the pay at the end of the month from the society. I similarly evaluated other projects in Central province, Coast Province, Rift Valley, Nairobi. Other projects evaluated include Lorna Young Foundation (LYF) UK, funded by Comic Relief (CR), UK to implement project intervention in Nyeri.
